Whew! It's fall already! How did it get here so fast? I know it's like less than 100 days until Christmas.
I gotta go check... BRB... http://www.xmasclock.com/ says 95 days today. Yep, less than 100 days to Christmas. This is serious!
Good thing I started Christmas shopping last week. Although I usually start mid-summer... so I'm late getting started. Blah!!
Last week was my birthday. When I was little, I decided that I would "forget" how old I was instead of trying to remember so that when I got to this age (OLD!!) I would just keep forgetting. LOL Well, it sort of worked!! I was born in 1970. I'm not afraid to share that. I figured I'm 34 this year. How did I get there? Well, I started out thinking I was going to be 44. A double number, cool. Then I did the math and I thought it was 43 but my brain and my mouth decided it was 34, so 34 it is! I don't feel 43.
I've been working on projects from Consultant camp and some other projects for my business. With fall here, crops are starting again. I'm holding some new classes at Hobby Lobby in Canton. I totally love scrapbooking!
Yep, it's still more than just scrapbooking, but mix liberally with lots of scrapbooking!! LOL

Garage Sales!
Have you ever stopped for one of those garage sale signs?
I truly enjoy the whole process of shopping. I love looking through ads. I love coupons and sales. I REALLY love Black Friday!! I enjoy hunting for bargains and saving money as much as possible.
Now, I've found garage sales. Oh man, let me tell you, it's FUN! We see so many places say nowadays talk about recycle and reuse and I think this is THE best way. People offer their items for sale, maybe place an ad on Craigslist and it's all fun looking for the signs and then looking over a "store" of items.
Sometimes the items are things you have been looking for. Sometimes you can be creative with the items and reuse them with a different purpose. Sometimes, there's no luck at all.
Last weekend, I even found a garage sale where the family was selling the items they couponed for. How's that for keeping the cycle going? They could reuse the money to buy more.
If you are someone who likes to meet interesting people, this is a great way. I'm not talking about dating - although, I suppose that COULD happen. I'm just saying that you meet some really interesting people. Oddly enough, you are probably going through their things too. Some of them tell you the background about the item you might be interested in.
I highly recommend trying a garage sale or two. Especially if you are interested in recycling and reusing.

What I wouldn't do for a little Scrapbooking time!
That about sums up my week.
Last weekend, there was a car accident. Everyone is ok, except our car. It took a pretty big hit - I was stopped at a light and someone smashed into me. I was hit hard enough to hit the car in front of me. I didn't think it was a big deal, but all week we have been finding more and more damage. The insurance company totaled it.
I have been coordinating a car search, insurance payment and loan information. I am WORE out!! We had to keep hubby working all week so most things had to be done after he got home from work.
There was LOTS of praying this week. Add this to all the normal stuff and it was prayer central around here. For real! Bringing together all the things that had to go on this week takes way more than what I can give.
I'm so glad that we have a vehicle and hopefully, it will be carrying us around for a long time to come. I know there will be many prayers about where the money will come from to pay for it. I thank God for every blessing He has bestowed on us.
So, I can't tell you what I would give for just some scrapbook time! I'd love to sleep in and relax, maybe be pampered a little... I know that won't come tomorrow. There are appointments galore and really I have no idea what will come of them, but I thank God that He will go through this time with me. :) <3

After the Crop... Before the Garden!
This weekend, I had a table at a crop as a vendor. Crop, for those who aren't scrapbookers, is a place and time for scrapbookers to do their work.
Now, today after the crop, it's all different. The worries of the world come into play. There's bills to pay. There's cleaning to be done. I spent some time catching up with friends and family. I got the chance to take a nap and then also to read the newspaper. I love days like that!
Tonight (well, this morning) I wandered through the Pinterest garden. Yep, I literally walked through garden pictures on Pinterest. I'm so ready for spring and planting and working on various projects outside the house. And I'm really ready for the local garage sales where I might find some interesting piece that I can turn into a planter or garden decoration.
I'm ready for Block's to open too! (That's our local plant store.) I'm searching for various plants to add to my garden spaces. I have space for foods. I have very little in front of the house, so I'd love to add some things there.
I really wish I had help and a plan for the garden spaces, so that I could take the ideas in my head (or from Pinterest) and make them into a beautiful space. I always wonder, is the fun in trying something new and hoping it grows and looks good - or is the fun in knowing what you are doing and enjoying how well it turns out?
I would love to plant pumpkins and poof, pumpkins grow and they look great! Yeah, it didn't work that way the first two times I tried to grow them. I took a year off last year. Should I try again?
Well, that's my ramblings for today... LOL Please leave me an answer, if you know what you're doing in the garden!!

I am a Scrapbook Addict! I <3 scrapbooking, card making and all the projects associated with it! My business is called Scrapbook Addict. I spend a LOT of time working on paper projects for myself, friends and my Close To My Heart business as an Independent Consultant. Anywhere I go, I want to check out the local scrapbook stores. I even write for www.bellaonline.com as the Scrapbook Editor.
That's a LOT of scrapbook in one life!
I admit it.
But, that's not ALL there is to me!! I'm starting this blog because I think some people think all I do or think about or talk about is scrapbooking. (I've only mentioned it seven times so far...)
I love a lot of other things.
I love...
reading,
gardening,
baking,
DIY projects,
and my pets.
I love being online, especially on Facebook.
I love hanging out with family and friends!
I love my faith and I try to include God in all parts of my life.
Do you LOVE soap operas? I do! In fact, I love a lot of television programs.
I really enjoy helping people.
I'm a Trekkie.
I think of myself as passionate, happy and a Daughter of the King.
I try to watch what I eat and I'm learning to eat better, healthier meals.
I'm learning to love exercise and even trying to love vegetables. LOL
Oh, and I'm one of those crazy couponers too!
So, why am I sharing all these likes and loves? Because that's what I want to write about here. I don't know how often I will write. I can't promise every day or even every week. You may see any of these topics or something completely different.
(And, it's quite possible - probable - that you might see some scrapbooking too!)
Please leave me a comment! Let me know if any of MY likes are YOUR likes too.
